MJ Collective — Terms of Service

Welcome to MJ Collective. These Terms of Service apply to orders placed through our online store, including orders from MJ Kitchen.

1. Products and services

MJ Kitchen offers freshly prepared food, platters and desserts made to order. Product availability, pricing and preparation times may vary.

2. Placing an order

Orders are subject to availability and confirmation by MJ Kitchen. Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact details, order requirements and collection information.

An order is accepted once MJ Kitchen confirms it.

3. Prices and payments

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR). The total amount payable will be communicated before the order is confirmed.

Payment arrangements and any applicable deposits will be confirmed when ordering.

4. Collection

MJ Kitchen currently offers collection by arrangement. The collection date, time and location will be confirmed with the customer.

Customers are requested to collect their orders at the agreed time.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Customers are requested to provide at least 48 hours’ notice before the agreed collection time when cancelling or changing an order.

Cancellations, refunds and any reasonable cancellation charges are handled in accordance with our published Return and Refund Policy and applicable South African consumer law.

6. Food quality and allergens

Customers should disclose relevant dietary requirements and food allergies before placing an order.

MJ Kitchen will endeavour to communicate relevant ingredient information. Customers with severe allergies should enquire about possible cross-contact before ordering.

8. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Nothing in these terms limits customers’ rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.

9. Changes to these terms

MJ Collective may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The applicable terms will be those communicated or made available when an order is placed, subject to applicable law.
